SustainEd North Fork was created to meet the needs of homeschooled high school students seeking meaningful STEM education in a small, community-oriented setting. The program emphasizes authentic inquiry, collaboration, and real-world applications in a sustainability context. Students explore complex problems while developing next-generation competencies that enable future learning and action, while simultaneously meeting all of the NYS grade-level requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
We take the confusion out of homeschooling in NYS by charting all STEM learning progress, maintaining and preparing all required records, and facilitating standardized testing.
Community-Based Learning
Students team up with local farmers, small business owners, and nonprofit organizations to make real improvements while strengthening community connections.
